I am very happy to be here, to see sisters that I love, I learned to live together, they were in my life is a very, very difficult, when I came to this country for almost 11 years ago, I came alone and after a year the Lord brought me to my 3 children at the time were absolutely tiny, but now they are really big . My oldest son is 19, arrived here at 9, Hudson, is at the College in New York, lives in New Jersey but is studying at the College in New York, and is a football hitting. Is very big, 6 feet 4, a very big boy. I have my daughter who is 18 years now is getting married in August and my tiny son who is 16, Felipe. And it all came here very young. And we had very, very nice in this congregation. I always tell which way this is still my church. Pastor Roberto and Meche still my pastors. I can be anywhere in the world, I'll never forget the brothers of the church, the brothers when I was remembering those days talking with a friend, a sister who also congregated here and I was remembering that when the sisters of this Church, Martin and Janet, all, all, all, Mayra, all, Diana, Ana, all, all, Marlene, and we were here selling cakes to bring my children. It's true. That was the biggest, greatest demonstration of love I could have in this congregation in addition to the support that the pastor gave me Robert and Meche a very difficult time that I was going to support and help at all, spiritually, financially, in all, I owe a lot, much to this congregation and for me today to be here before you is a very great privilege.
Meche first because when I called and invited me to be here, I said, Meche, are you sure you want me to talk? But she says, yes, yes, I know, you're a woman of faith, you are courageous because God (... ..) is still not as good. But now I have a big challenge, plus a big challenge, learning English well because the church of my future husband Hispanics are all brothers, no Brazilian. So I have to learn to speak English fluently. I am very happy, very happy to be here. And I wanted to invite you to open your Bibles to the Book of Esther, book of a woman who has a really nice story and I'm sure that the story of Esther is very similar to, perhaps, to stories about us. I think each of us that maybe we did not formally be a queen but we have a story quite like, well like this woman what happened, a story of challenges, a history of many conquests, a story of courage, a story of great determination, a history of being chosen by God to do something big. I do not know if we will keep talking to it here because I move, I can not stand him. But surely a story talks a lot in our hearts.
I come as Meche says, I am Brazilian, born in a hot region of Brazil is the Northeast, a region of many beaches, beautiful beaches, I come from a Christian family, family I come from my grandfather who asleep in the Lord, was a pastor, my pastor, my grandmother, a woman of God that taught me many biblical principles, moral principles. I come from a family that my parents are Christians, cousins, uncles, cousins, are pastors and come from a family which, thank God I was able to understand, to learn about the word of God. I was born in a Baptist church in Brazil, all my family is Baptist and learned a lot and I honor the Lord for God in all things, he has a purpose in our lives, even for this fight you may be here today very nice, very neat, very fragrant and the people may look at you and say, but the sister is so pretty, the sister is so cute, he smells so good, but only God knows how your heart. Because only God can probe our hearts, only God can fathom our soul, only God has the power to look inside one and say so .... Look, no, I can not Marlene, sorry, not working with me does not work. Sorry. I feel really stop. And only God has the power to look at one in, that place that no one can see, anyone can see his appearance, his personality, his manner of speaking, but only God can fathom what is in your heart. God alone knows what's inside a well hidden recesses of his heart. Maybe you shared and took the opportunity to share many things as most people but there is something inside you that your secret will be very, nobody knows, but I want to say that the Lord knows.
And the theme we used to be ministering this morning is to understand where God leads you? There are ways that the Lord has set for us, that we how to understand, do not have and even if we try to understand we will not reach a conclusion until God leads us to the path he has for us the place he has given us to arrive. Maybe you and I have a story, you may experience a bit painful, bitter, a bit sad, but I'm sure what I say on this day, this morning, the Lord is in control. God never lost or will lose control of the path that he is taking you. Never, never, never will the Lord always in control.
And this story that I wanted to share a little with you on this day is in Esther, chapter 4, verse 13 y 14. Ustedes me entienden bien? Sí? Que bueno, el Señor es bueno. Ester 4, 13:14 dice así;
And Esther was a girl like us, I think all of you already know the story of Esther, a girl who had no parents, was an orphan of father and mother and his uncle cousin Mordecai ran to raise, educate and word of the Lord says that Mordecai when he took Esther to educate, to raise it, I think that Mordecai as a man of God, as a man who knew the Lord, as a man who feared the Lord, in the depths of his heart and his soul he understood, in thought that God had a purpose too big for Esther, for xed.
And that proves both the word of God that when Mordecai, when the problem happened happened to Queen Vashti, who was the wife of King Ahasuerus, that king in that province, a province very, very rich, very large , Xerxes was a king who had great power over large provinces, cities and the word of God says Vashti, as the wife of King Ahasuerus was was invited to appear, to present himself before the king. The king who was her husband, Xerxes. At the time when a king inviting someone to present himself before him nobody could deny a request from the king. An order of the king was not an order, plus it was like a mandate, you have to introduce and Vashti as his wife could not leave the rules, because as a wife more still had to obey, had to be pleasing to her husband. And she was called to appear before King Ahasuerus and the chief of that city of the province and she refused to go. And the bad example of Queen Vashti for those people, for the king and his subjects sounded like a very bad example. Why? For Vashti as queen, she could not afford the Luja to disobey the mandate of her husband because husband before he was a king. Then she could not refuse to appear before him. And how bad example? The subjects of the king, the king started to claim that she had to be punished and the greatest punishment for her would lose his crown. She would be no Queen in the province, it would no longer be the wife of King Ahasuerus.
And that brought major consequences for the life of Queen Vashti because she first came on a path that we know much, that when we disobey, disobedience brings great consequences. Disobedience in every area of \u200b\u200bour lives brings great consequences, brings great results often are not as good, are registered in our lives and Queen Vashti lost her crown, losing his reign, the king issued a decree that girls were invited young, pretty, beautiful to to be presented to King Ahasuerus, and would be chosen one, one that would be the future queen, who would replace the Queen instead of Vashti, who had already lost his crown.
And the word of God says that when Esther, despite being an orphan girl, despite not having parents, being raised by her uncle Mordecai, Esther, what is striking in this story of Esther, many things catch my attention but what strikes me at the example of Esther Esther is that she made no excuses, she made no excuses to say no, I'm a poor girl, I am an orphan, I have no father, I have no mother, I was raised by my uncle, maybe I have no good academic training for college, I have much knowledge, but one thing that strikes me in Ester, knows what it is, is obedience. She heard her uncle Mordecai was a man of God and I'm sure that was led by the Spirit of God, and not once in the book of Esther, is mentioned the name of God. But we can see God's action, the hand of God there in the life of Esther, in a mighty way.
And often we are concerned often with the name and forget that God is there. Ana was spoken here, and I strongly agree with Anne because we spend our life stories in raising our children alone and we attached a great time with Ana when we lived here (...) when I gathered in that church, and we see that God is silent when it is not because he is oblivious to our pain, not because he is oblivious to what we are going or feeling. No, I can say that for you very special, with high priority, because I have spent and spent on roads, I walked through many valleys, because I know that before coming to a mountain the Lord always going to lead us to spend through a valley, sisters always, always. Never forget that. Always before reaching a mountain, no valley we go through. And this valley many times, the valley is a place nobody wants to be, nobody wants to be down, nobody wants to be alone, nobody wants to be sad, nobody wants to be in need, nobody wants to feel rejected but many times we, all of us go through this valley, we pass through the valley of loneliness. The time I went through the valley of solitude: 18 years now in August going to do that I am divorced, 18 years alone, alone, alone. But alone, alone, 18 years and never a man looked at me.
My mom when she came here every year read: my daughter, I can not understand because I do not know how to say the English word (...) this bird has large eyes that is about night. Owl. Wow! What a difference. In Brazil we have a saying that the owl does not believe that their children are ugly. She believes are the most beautiful and Brazil is that saying. And my mom said so, but I can not understand how you, a woman so beautiful, it's my mom ... .. so beautiful, so clever is alone all the time. Be that in this country does not have a man who looks at you. And I said, Mom, do not worry because everything has its time. Everything has its time. As was said here by Esther, as it was read here in the word in Ecclesiastes, chapter 3, a time for everything. There is a time to mourn, but there is a time to laugh, there is a time raised, but there is a time to enjoy the Lord. There is a time, sisters, there is a time to every purpose under heaven. The Lord's word is very emphatic, is very firm on that, there is a time for everything.
And Esther had to go through that time, a time of preparation. The word of God says that Esther when he enlisted to be there with the other girls who were chosen by King Ahasuerus to be the future queen, Esther was a time of 12 months of preparation, 12 months of preparation. He had to prepare his body, with aromas, so much so that when the time came before the king. But Esther was not certain, the conviction would she picked. She did not know. But while Esther was given 12 months a year, she did her part, she was prepared, she was prepared to appear before the king. And when he went before the king, that person, that girl the king extended his scepter would be chosen, and had to be brought before him. And Esther was in front of that girl, was a great challenge.
And what strikes me here is that Esther did not excuse the refusal, she made the excuse of loneliness, she got the excuse of complexes that had she not made the excuse of frustration and trauma loaded on it, that maybe some of us carry in our lives, we loaded the frustration that we wanted to reach a larger professional and we could not reach due to lack of financial resources, lack of opportunity, but made no excuses Ester before the great challenge in front of her. And what strikes me is that even without making excuses Ester, she knew it before the Lord was giving a great opportunity in front of her a great challenge.
many of us do not face challenges in our lives. The challenge of coming to this country, come here, break the barrier of language, English, which until today I'm trying to learn. But before reaching the age of 90 I will learn well. I'm sure before I go to 90 models arrive, Marta, to speak the English well, with no barriers, no barriers, no barriers.
But there are many challenges ahead of us. Language is the challenge, the challenge of Biles we pay every month and often the money goes to pay a little short. Responsibilities, the family we left our countries to help them. There are so many challenges. And many times we challenge all of us when we come to this country is the challenge of solitude. Often we feel alone, I remember when before they were my children, Meche, I came to church, I sang in praise and I came for the two services, because I said, no, I have to stay, if there is a third service I stayed because I did not want to be alone. I did not want to be alone and I was here in the first service, arrived early at 8.30 and we were here praying, preparing, we came for testing and we were here. When we finished the service always had something for lunch, to eat. Wanda cooked rice (...) that I love, rice and black beans. I learned to eat English food and I assure you that I love. And we always had something to do and then when I turned to the thing where I was living, for my room, I felt sometimes very lonely, because I felt part of my children. But there was a promise of God but also before me was a challenge to overcome loneliness, struggling to bring my children to this country because there was a promise.
know something that we, sisters, we can never forget is that same as we have before us many challenges, we have many giants that rise before us, as rose the giant Goliath before David. David was not afraid, not afraid, David faced, plus David confronted him, you know why? Because David knew that before David was the Lord, before he had the Lord, there was the challenge the giant but there was also the presence of God that was about the life of David, that this presence, this anointing is what gave him strength and courage so that David could face the giant in the name of the Lord. Then there are many challenges ahead of us, there are so many things that happened. Many of us were rejected. I saw a story of a marriage, I was married to a pastor, my husband was pastor, the father of my children in Brazil, and I had 3 children.
But before this marriage, I went through a lot. I went through experiences that some of the sisters here know a little of my testimony. I, two years old, I was thrust from autism and epilepsy. I was autistic. I did not speak, sisters. My mom says I speak today others. Today you have to send me to shut up. But up to 15 years, Diana, I did not speak, I had early autism. I took medicine controlled by a psychiatrist, and neurologist. I had an escort of psychologists in my country. I did not speak.
But sisters, what I bring to you today on this day, and I want you to have it clear in their minds and their hearts, there is a promise of God upon us. There is a promise of God on our children. There is a promise of God upon your family. There is a promise of God upon your marriage. Hallelujah! And the Lord did not forget any promises he made none. I you we can forget the promises we heard 20 years ago, 15 years ago, but the Lord does not forget a single word. Not a single word the Lord is forgotten. What he has promised will do, and sister, believes he will do it.
But one thing that I have learned with the Lord, that between the fulfillment of the promise there is a time of preparation of God. God is not going to give anything to us if you have not prepared us to be ready to receive us. God will, God will allow. Not because she is bad, not because he is a Father who we forget, there is a Father who likes to see their children suffer. No, the Lord is a good Father. Is a wonderful Father and the Lord's word tells us, may your father and your mother leave you, deny you, but the Lord never forget you. The Lord will never forsake us, sisters. We have to have that clear in our minds, our soul, our spirit, our heart. You may be going through a valley, now, very difficult. Is going through an ordeal in her marriage, perhaps like me, was rejected once. When my husband left I was 24, I have 41 this year in October I'm serving 42 years and 18 years alone. But the Lord takes care of me. The Lord has not forgotten me. And sisters, I can say I was rejected for my husband, but I was never, never be rejected by the Lord. Hallelujah!
know why? There is a promise of God, God is a word, a word of a man who is Almighty, who cares for us, in every detail, the smallest things, the Lord cares for us. In all, what we like to dress, what we like to eat, the Lord cares for us.
And there was a word when my mother was embarrassed, waiting for I am the first of 6 children that my mother has. And I am the first child and when my mom says that when she was pregnant the Lord (used a pastor that she sleeps in the Lord) told her, the girl in your belly will be a missionary, preach my word and where she could not get his voice will come. There was a word of God bent over my life. Psalm 139 tells us that the probe and Lord knows us and he knows us, not now that we are grown, or large. He knows us before we are formed in our mother's womb. He already knew us. He knew what would each of us, our properties, our personality, our temperament, our name, the color of our eyes, how would our physical size, perhaps as I am highly elegant, because I'm not fat, I am strongly elegant. (....) Strongly smart, where are they? Where are they? Because I do not agree to call me fat, I'm not fat, I am highly elegant. A bit of belly but (...)
But the Lord made a very big honor to me, you know why? Because I got a size 22 W. and am now 16 and 14 W. But there was a way I had to go. There was a road, there was a way. And I want to go back to what I was talking about earlier, when I was born, two years of age I was thrust from the disease and my mom said, if the Lord, where are the promises you made me when my daughter was in my belly ? You said that my daughter would be a preacher your word and she would preach your word, and she does not speak. She does not speak. Looks like things are brothers. God often will allow for situations in our lives that will contradict the word he told us. You are understanding? God will speak in some way, you'll make a promise but the circumstances around us will try to lead us to believe that this will not happen. Hallelujah!
I feel the spirit of God that he is talking to someone here this morning. Look, sister, you can be going through circumstances, situations that are trying to endorse your faith, guarantee your confidence, your belief in the Lord, but I want to tell you today with the authority the Lord, a word of God on your life, there is a word of God over your marriage, there is a word of God over your children, there is a word of God on the ministry that he will have to deliver.
There is a word of God is not the word of any person, is the word of the Lord. The word of God says that God has his time, no time for restoration, but I want to tell you, before doing any work of God through your life, you know what is the first work he wants to do in your life before that you can be used by the Lord he wants to heal your life, he wants to heal your wounds, he wants you to forgive.
I remember when I this church, I carried within me, despite being a Christian since I was born, I never knew anything in the world, I never drank, I never smoked, I never did anything the world has to offer, because I come from a Christian family and I carried within me a very large Magua: I loved my husband, the father of my children, I had stopped by the treasurer of the church, had gone to the treasurer and had left me with 2 children and one on my belly. I was waiting for my tiny son, Philip, who until now do not know your dad. He is 16 years and may believe that I had a task so difficult, so hard but the Lord has been there for me, working in the life of my son's life to minister my son, my son will not take upon him a Maggid of his father. He will not charge any backlash against his father, the more he will love as though he abandoned it. For the Lord never left him. Oh Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah!
And I had, when I came to this congregation as big a pain in my soul, because my dad, when my husband left I had no place to live, with my two children and was pregnant, I went home my father and my father one day, hit all clothes, clothes for my children, in the middle of the room and said, I do not want you over here because I have no duty of care, to maintain you, I already raised you and I have no obligation to raise your children. And I remember that on that day, I was going to take my clothes, take my children and I went to the street. I was not going home for my family, I went to the house of anyone, I went to the street. But I was sure the Lord was going to open up a door for the Lord, as you say squeezes but does not drown. He allows the test to test but we will never give up, never, ever the Lord is going to leave.
And I remember that day my mom said so, which do not fit my daughter and my grandchildren I do not fit, and my dad came to his senses and there I stayed at his house almost 5 years and 6 months, living in that house and God was working on me, because I primarily depended entirely on the Lord and my father to eat, dress, me and my children. And I went through that valley and I said, Lord, where are your promises? Lord, where are you? I carried within me a Maggid of father of my children, my father, because now when I most needed my dad wanted to leave me.
And I came to this church, Meche, I remember the name of the pastor, a Puerto Rican pastor, something like Columbus. Something like that, Ronda Columbus, this woman, I'll never forget it. God spoke to me so strong at that retreat that the woman came out of place I was on the platform to preach and was where I was. But sisters, there was a pain in my chest and I said, I hit my chest and said, Lord, I have started this hole, Lord, that Magua starts, I need to forgive the father of my children and my father. I can not load this dead inside me. Because unforgiveness, sisters, one is a dead load weight is a burden that is not one, not belonging to one. And I carried it, and I beat my chest and said, Lord, Lord, I want to serve. Lord, I want can deal with your home. Lord, I want to bear fruit for you, but whenever I wanted to seek God, was that memory in my mind, you have to forgive your father, you have to forgive your husband.
On that day God used Pastor Wanda and was where I was and I said, today the Lord sets you free from these chains, today the Lord sets you free and you are going to bear fruit, you're going to grow because I have a work in your life. But I needed to find that, what we need sometimes is that we carry within ourselves from past traumas, flashbacks, and often are impediments, are stones that are ahead of us, preventing us from passing, moving boundaries, passing things that the Lord has set for us. It is as if this brand, this line here, there is a line, that line is saying there is a limit here.
But I need to go beyond that limit, I have to dare to pass that limit, I have to have faith, I have to have strength, I have to have determination to pass it. If I want to move, I know I can move, I need to break the limits. The limits are often placed on our lives, not the Lord, more often by the devil, the devil that we set limits and say, you're not going to happen here, you're staying here, living with this problem, live with this rejection, living this lack of forgiveness because he knows, you know what? That the potential of God that is about your life, he know that the Lord has called upon your life and he does not want any of us move forward, plus the role of the devil to kill, steal and destroy. Kill your dreams, kill your dreams, dreams to be overcome, the dream of being a woman full of God's spirit, the dream of being a woman used by God.
Many times we think that women used by God is only a preacher, it's just sung. No, you're a woman used by God. Know why? The Lord wants to raise as intercessor, as a woman who can have a word to help another sister. You can be a women who is going to help your sister to carry this burden, that this sister is carrying and is often too weak to carry it.
And I, when the Lord delivered me when I opened my heart I told the Lord, I forgive the father of my children. Lord, I forgive my father because he left me. But the Lord never left me. He knows what we need and we need to understand that we must have a parent-child relationship with the Lord. We must be able to overcome those things, those limits are imposed on us, knows when? When we understand and create a relationship of father and daughter. Mainly we women have a very big emotional deprivation, we were made by the Lord that we are loved, that we cared for we are protected, but we can not expect that just men, spouse, husband, child, we have to expect that the Lord first.
Why? I was abandoned, but I do not fell prostrate before them. The Lord gave me strength to break, the Lord gave me strength to go through that test and I can assure you, sisters, it was not easy, it was very difficult. 3 children alone, come to this country, I raised my kids practically alone, because only I have a sister here and was often through health problems, but the Lord gave me grace, the Lord enabled me to overcome.
As trained Ester to get where God wanted to take. Where God would lead to Esther? Ester would be women, the girl used by God to save an entire people, the Jewish people. The Jewish people, the fate of those people the Lord had placed in front of Esther. And Ester sure could not understand why the Lord was leading her way, but one thing, sisters, God leads us down a path and this path will lead us to victory, this path will take us a blessing, this way we will to lead to a way of anointing of God, God's presence in our lives. We may be tested, yes, while in this world, we will be tested. The Lord tells us that the Lord test us on the journey of grief. We tested like gold. Why? Because there is in us something sublime, something special God-given and the Lord for that to unzip, so that we can go to be tested by the Lord.
And I remember when I broke out of forgiveness for my father, my husband, things in my ministerial life began to appear, grow, to unfold in my life. I began to grow in the Lord, I stopped being a bitter person, and I became a happy person with the Lord, not looking at the circumstances around me, the lack of money, scarcity, but I knew the Lord is there, the Lord was there, because I knew I was not understood which way the Lord was leading me, but I did follow the path the Lord led me. Because what we have to understand is that although I can not understand why we are going through it, we have to be clear that the way we are doing is in the direction of the Lord will lead us to a path of blessing, will lead to a way of blessing, we will take a growth path will lead us to a way to have experiences with the Lord.
And with 15 years the Lord healed me, the Lord healed me, I started talking, I went through a process. I applaud the Lord because he is worthy. Only he could do that brothers. And I was a girl my parents say the doctors said to them and my grandparents, not to expect anything from me because I would not be normal like my brothers, I would not talk, I would not study, I would not having children. Look, look, the devil is a liar. Look like the devil is a liar, brothers.
many times the devil has said many times before us we are not going to get, we will not achieve, that we can not. They are lies about him. We can because we can all things through Christ who strengthens us, strengthens us Lord. You may be experiencing a problem today, large in his life, but do not let this problem, do not fall down in front of that problem, not prostrate before him. I know that problems often afflict afflict us and our emotions, our heart, our soul, we cried, we were sad, but not left lying in front of this problem, fight, fight. Do not give up. We women have a power given by the Lord, we are persistent. We are persistent. If we want to stay skinny highly elegant. We fight. You do not know the effort that I have done to lose weight. My God. My God. Not imagine. And I love to eat. I love, love, love. I always say, the servant of God I was made for two things to glorify God and eat. Because what the believer does not drink, eat believer. Do not understand? What we as Christians do not take, eat. Now understand. We eat because it is good to eat. (... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... .. Walking, walking and walking). And hold or remain in place but we like to eat.
And I went through the whole process when I came here in Boston the Lord brought me to New Jersey to New York, I went to work with the ministry of women, spent 5 years and there the Lord brought me through another valley . I went through a valley very hard, I thought that I would not get past it. I had cancer two years ago in the throat, in the thyroid. All my hair fell out, I was in size 22, I stayed at 250 pounds. Picture me me in that size. Imagine me me, short of 250 pounds. It was a walking ball, a ball. And I spent. When that doctor told me I had thyroid cancer, sisters, I can assure you that I thought at that time did all the promises of the Lord in my mind, and I say, Lord, I do not accept that. That the doctor is saying, this is not your word over my life. About my life a word of the Lord is a promise is a promise. And I say, Lord, I do not accept that, I have to raise my children, I have the Lord, many things to do in your work, at home, I can not.
and sisters, I left that hospital with a diagnosis of cancer and the doctor said, you're going to have to take oral medications because they were at the beginning and she saw I was not ready to make a direct chemotherapy. And I said, Doctor, I'm not ready to run out of hair, I'm not ready for that. And she said, we will try to give oral medicine. But it will be the same effect of chemotherapy. And I said, at least do not send me to the hospital for chemotherapy me because I'm not ready. And she spent the medicines, I did many tests and found and started taking medicine, and these drugs gave me many nausea, many anxieties of vomiting, many leg cramps. I was in the service in the church, preaching, singing and cramps were so many that I went to lie down in a place, I could have fallen. And they passed each other, and I spent 6 months with the diagnosis without telling anyone. My mom did not know, my sister did not know, my kids do not know, my pastor did not know. And 6 months, I say, Lord, I'm going to get tested. The Lord tells us we can do tests on you and see you're good. And I say, Lord, I have promise and your word says that whoever has the promise of the Lord does not die before the promise is fulfilled. Is the word of God.
What we lack know what is many times, sisters? You know the word and claim what we have right to speak. The word of the Lord is for us is to take possession of it, is to speak, is to claim, Lord, I am your daughter. Lord, there is a promise of you in my life. There is a word from you in my life. I do not accept this situation. But sometimes when we settled struggles come. Oh, I'm with cancer, I know I'm going to die. And we prostrate on a couch and we were awaiting death with open mouth, not eating, that's worse, because eating is good, not eating.
I say, no, I'm not going to put here in this chair with his mouth open and eat, much less. Now I eat, I want a woman with a full belly. I will not stop eating. But I passed the test, 6 months later I was at my church, in prayer in the morning, 10 am to midnight every day we had (...) that sentence and I was crying so hard, in that day, I was having so wrong, so wrong, and I say Lord, I'll be tomorrow morning's so bad that I felt? Hair and I had dropped a lot. He had little hair because I always had long hair and I was scared, and those pains I felt, saying, Lord, help me. And I asked the brothers, sister, why her hair is down? And I said, because I'm under stress. And stress does that? And I say, yes, it does. But I said, Lord, I'm not going to open my mouth until the last moment because I believe in miracles, I believe. And God in that Monday night, I used my pastor, and said so, (...) I do not know what happens but the Lord shows me that the body is about a disease and the Lord wants to heal tonight, wants to heal. Look brothers, God knows us, sisters. He knows far as I and you can get to go. He knows our limitations. He knows where we support. And at that time God used Pastor Fernando, was the night, and I said, look, sister (...) I I do not know what happens. And I knew in my spirit that the pastor knew what was wrong. But it meant I had a malignancy, but had no courage to tell me that the Lord had revolted to him cancer. And when we were in a prayer circle with many brothers I told the pastor, I know I'm not flesh and blood that I found, was the Lord that I have cancer.
Brothers, the face of the others were so, looking at me. And the time, brothers, that I sang more. And many times I went to sing with pain here that you can not imagine, here I itched like I have needles, it itched for here. It was a lot of pain and the days that I was more wrong, the nights I went to church for services, were the days when the pastor called me to sing more. I say, Sir, I will kill you today. I'm going to die here on this altar, I will die singing here. It was true, sister, and I assured the pulpit, I said, Lord, give me strength to sing. And sister (...) repeats the hymn. And I sang and he repeated again. I say, Lord, he will kill me today. Today he kills me. But the Lord was leading me down a path of miracles was the way God was leading me, was the way of miracle. Oh Hallelujah! And I discovered
something with the Lord, know when we have more to sing? When things are worse. When things were black, sister look, open your big mouth and starts singing. Do not worry if you tune, if you tune. Do not worry if your voice is beautiful, do not worry. Sing. Worship the Lord. The road to victory, the path of miracles is your worship the Lord in the midst of trial. When things go bad start to worship and say, Lord, I am not understanding anything, I'm not understanding why I am going through it but I want to praise, Lord, for I know that you have control of that situation, I I know my husband is not in your way, not in your presence, but it is in the palm of your hands, Lord. I know my son is not serving, but I know that yours is a promise on the life of my son and my daughter. Behold
we have to worship God when everything is good is easy, it's easy, when we have the money to pay rent, mortgage, and pay for the car, to buy food, to go to the mall and buy a clothes, but when there is money, when there is no health, no husband, no children when near, when there are many struggles is difficult to worship God. But this time the Lord wants of us a sacrifice. Oh the Lord is not going to ask for anything that does not cost us, sisters. Because the Lord often want to see in us the sacrifice, we have to take delivery. When things get bad and difficult there is time to worship the Lord, there is time to glorify the Lord.
I spent the entire process of cancer and after 9 months when I finished all the treatment I returned to the university hospital and they found that he had no cancer in my throat. Hallelujah! Oh, sisters that day was the happiest day of my life. When I did that biopsy and the doctor said no more cancer in the thyroid, we will not have surgery, we will not need anything. You have to be provided by check, you have to take your meds every day fasting you have to take care of the cancer but the period unfolded in my diabetes. Look sisters out cancer and had diabetes, I say, Lord, the Lord rebukes if (....) Because it is that diabetes is the wife of devil. (....) That pastor, which says, look, rebuke the devil because the devil is a woman diabetes. I said, it's just that what I was missing. It's just that what I was missing. Diablo, diabetes, look. The Lord rebuke.
Out! I am the sole property of the Lord. I am his priority. Developed diabetes, sisters, and started taking insulin. I say, Lord, I do not accept me insulin. I do not accept, Sir, I do not I agree, I do not accept, sisters, I got so bad that pre-coma state, I was hospitalized 3 days at the university hospital and was there struggling but confident in store the word of God on my life. I spent today I have to take, not insulin, thank God, but I have to take my medicine three times a day, I have to take care with food. Oh my God, the rice that I like. Ay. I have to eat every two hours if I have to go with a cookie, a little fruit in my bag, because there are times when low blood sugar a lot and sometimes they go up, but I'm there. Diabetes is not going to stop. Diabetes is not going to stop talking about the Lord. Diabetes is not going to shut my mouth. Diabetes or any disease is going to let me say the Lord is good. Because he is good. With diabetes or without diabetes, the Lord is good. To fight or not fight the Lord is good.
Then we must, sisters, be clear in our lives, in our minds that the Lord is never lost or will lose control of our lives. You may be experiencing a problem, God may be leading you down a path that you now do not you understand. But do not mumble, do not gossip. You understand murmur? Claim, do not complain to the Lord. Praise him, praise him. The secret is to praise the Lord. Lord, I do not understand anything, is aching, Lord, is hurting, because who wants to spend per fight, nobody wants to go through struggle. But sometimes God allows struggles in our lives, not to kill, not to remain prostrate, but so that we can raise our spirits, need our faith, declare, use our mouth. Because it is often easier to claim that praise the Lord, which is to declare a word.
And the Lord wants of us sisters, we can be positioned in front of him. We are facing the problem and say, a problem I know that you're here. Problem, I know you're in my marriage problem, I know you're here in the lives of my children who may be in the drug problem, I know you're in that financial problems I'm losing my house, I'm losing everything I built with much effort, with so much work; problem I know that you are, but I want to introduce yourself, problem, my God, a God who is great, which is higher your, problem, and that will give me strength and will give me victory. That's what we have to understand, sisters, that God is in control, the way he leads us we may not be getting anything, now, nothing, but the path he is taking you now going to be a way that later, after your walk through this valley, the Lord has a mountain to (against). And the mountain speaks know what? In victory, the mountain speaks of the place of prominence, the mountain speaks of a place that gets in the mountains who will climb the mountain and climbing and climbing and climbing. It is not easy to climb a mountain, it is not easy, is difficult. It has to be trained. And the Lord is using this time to prepare for where he wants to take.
women here in this place now in this congregation, women that God will greatly raise, by using the word, through prophecy, through song, praise, women's advocates, and sisters, do not worry about the title that you're going to have, do not worry about the title, deal to be a servant of the Lord, a woman who understands the call of God, a woman is in a position to obey God's call, a woman who fears the Lord, a woman who loves the Lord, a woman who wants to serve the Lord and sisters , we know that man is the head of the family but we women are the spiritual column. What the column? Supports the body. The head is here, we're never going to be higher than our husbands, but your husband is not Christian, it is a man who serves the Lord, he remains head. And we have to be submissive, have to be submissive. Submission is a tremendous beginning that if we do not respect and do not need that in our lives we will have problems. Submission to God first, our leaders, our pastors, our husbands, our bosses at work. We still have to have someone who is always on top of us and then we have to be submissive.
And one thing that I have learned from the Lord, we are the spiritual column, the husband can command, the husband may have the last word because we have, but we through our knee on the floor, praying to the Lord, let us terrible things to win, we're going to testify about our children. Sisters, how many times I said, Lord, is that I'll get to raise my children? Is truth. Diana, I was looking at a few days ago the photos of my husband with my children when they came here very young. Felipe was 6 years old and I said, if the Lord helps me. Many brothers here in this congregation dressed my children, including Ela and her husband, Anne, and many others here, Martha, as they did for me, so that helped me when I needed the food, the food I needed the money. Meche, the pastor, so many brothers, Jeannette, many people here in this church. Sisters, I went down that road to get where I am today.
I keep running my tests, yes, but not like before, not like before. The Lord led me a road and has lead me, I know that this path will be a blessing to my life. How many times I said, Lord, will anyone ever going to watch? My God. Lord, 18, grandmother and soon. Solita. But the Lord has prepared someone for me, a widowed pastor, a man of God and the Lord .... Interestingly brothers that when the Lord brought me to this church I said, Lord, why I am in the church who speak English. I learned to speak English here at this church was here with the brothers, speaking portuñol and brothers taught me. Eh, Maira, portuñol. Gonzalo put me in praise. Y yo digo, Señor amado, cómo voy a hacer, Señor?
My daughter sings in the church, my tiny son also works at the church, my oldest son plays the keyboard at church. Are far from me, is living in another state but is strong with the Lord, serving the Lord. God has taken my son to a process of great faith. Is in the College, is studying the Lord opened that door for us and now we got the news last month that he will have a scholarship for 6 months, I will not need to pay the College of him. Sisters, this is a great blessing for me because I know, I never lost focus on the Lord, my (....) Lord, and I know in ways that he allowed me to pass that I do not I understood but I went, I followed, I fell prostrate before the problem. Oh, no husband, I am alone abandoned, 3 children and now I'm going to die. No, I did not stay that way. I did not stay that way. How often, Meche, we came to the service and I was in worship with the girls and cheer, and when the pastor then called me to go forward, to minister to me crying, crying, Lord help me, God gives me strength because I have no strength, Lord. I have no strength.
Sisters, we're not super women, we are not super super Christian women often have a difficult time in our lives, but we can not stay ahead them.
